Following a heated argument, press sources indicate that there may be friction between producer Asit Modi and the show’s star Dilip Joshi.

Will Dilip Joshi leave TMKOC following his altercation with producer Asit Modi?

Media sources claim that Dilip and Asit’s disagreement got so out of hand that it almost resulted in a violent altercation.

Dilip allegedly even threatened to quit the program because of the argument. According to reports, the argument started over vacation plans three months ago in August and swiftly escalated into a furious argument.

Dilip was expecting to speak with Asit about the holidays, according to the information provided by the TMKOC production crew.

According to a News18 news source, “Dilip Ji was waiting for Asit Modi to arrive because he wanted to talk about the vacation issue on Kush Shah’s last day on set.” But instead, Asit went directly to meet Kush Shah. This behavior did not sit well with Dilip Joshi.

“Dilip Ji became very upset and an argument broke out between him and Asit Ji,” the report continued. Dilip Ji became so enraged during the dispute that he threatened to quit the program and even grabbed Asit Modi’s collar. But Asit was able to soothe him. How the matter was ultimately settled is still unknown.

It is important to note, though, that neither Asit Modi nor Dilip Joshi, nor the show’s crew, have released an official statement as of yet. There have been rumors that Dilip Joshi would also think about leaving TMKOC sets in light of the reported violent altercation.
