RCB IPL 2025 Mega Auction player list: Yash Dayal has been kept as a “uncapped” player by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who want to purchase match winners.

On Day 1 of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction in Jeddah on Sunday, Royal Challenger Bangalore made their first purchase of the day when they won the offer of Rs 8.75 crore for England all-rounder Liam Livingstone.

For an incredible 11.50 crore, RCB signed an explosive English wicketkeeper batsman. Indian rising sensation Jitesh Sharma will be RCB’s next acquisition, costing 11 crore.

Based in Bangalore, Karnataka, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), sometimes known as Royal Challengers Bengaluru, is a professional franchise cricket club that plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

IPL 2025 Mega Auction

The squad, named after United Spirits’ liquor brand Royal Challenge, was established in 2008. Their home field is Bangalore’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Royal Challengers have made it to the playoffs nine times and have ended as runners-up three times, in 2009, 2011, and 2016. The team has also participated in the Champions League Twenty20, where they placed second in the 2011 campaign. With a valuation of $69.8 million, RCB is among the most valuable IPL teams.

Three players have been retained by RCB ahead of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction: Yash Dayal (4 crore), Rajat Patidar (11 crore), and Virat Kohli (21 crore). After spending Rs 37 crore on their retentions, their club would have Rs 83 crore to bid on at the auction.
