Amitabh Bachchan obliquely addressed the continuing rumors on his official blog on Sunday, November 24. In a mysterious but encouraging remark posted in Hindi, Big B said, “Kehne do unhe jo kehna hai, humara toh kehna ye hai” (Let them say what they want; this is what I have to say), without naming any specific people.

Some movies want you to be amused, while others ask you to BE the movie. The message “I WANT TO TALK” asks you to be the movie. It gradually lifts you from your theater seat and gently sets you within the screen on which it is shown, where you may observe its life passing by. No attempt or possibility of trying to get away from it into ESCAPISM and Abhishek: you are the movie’s ARJUN SEN, not Abhishek.

Let them say what they want to say, but here’s what I think the movie should convey. And I remember what my poojya Babuji said: the good did think I was good, and the bad did think I was bad. What was their need for me, and did they recognize me with that? Because whatever their “need” was, that’s how much they recognized me.
