According to its remarkable first-day advance booking collections, the much anticipated Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2 has set the ground for an amazing release. With Allu Arjun playing his legendary character again, the movie has created a lot of excitement and expectation in India.
The total amount collected from advance bookings is ₹31.91 crore, which includes ₹9.35 crore from block seats and ₹22.56 crore in all languages and formats.
This demonstrates the general excitement for the follow-up, which is expected to outperform its predecessor in terms of scope and execution. Prior to its December 5 release date, 6,92,507 tickets have already been sold for the film.
In terms of language performance, the Telugu version is the most successful, selling 2.83 lakh tickets and earning an incredible ₹10.87 crore in 2D alone. With ₹7.68 crore and more over 2.68 lakh tickets sold, the Hindi 2D version came in second.
Fans’ desire to see the movie in high definition forms was demonstrated by the substantial contributions made by the 3D and IMAX formats.
With more than 1,400 concerts scheduled, Telangana had the highest occupancy rate in the region (54%), earning ₹9.8 crore. West Bengal, with a 21% occupancy rate, came next with ₹1.21 crore.
The film’s pan-India popularity was demonstrated by the strong performances of states like Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Kerala generated ₹1.4 crore despite an 8% occupancy rate, demonstrating robust demand even in areas with fewer performances.
While the Hindi 2D version prevailed with the most shows (9,303), demonstrating its reach throughout the northern belt, the Telugu 2D version’s 2,867 shows demonstrate the enormous demand in the film’s local market.
Pushpa 2 is expected to establish new records.
The movie’s widespread appeal was demonstrated by the fact that, in addition to major cities, smaller states and areas like Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands also contributed to the bookings.
Pushpa 2 is expected to shatter many box office records due to its outstanding pre-release figures.
