Fans are questioning whether Team India bowler Mohammed Siraj and Mahira Sharma are secretly dating after the player expressed interest in the couple’s Instagram photo.
Mahira Sharma, a TV actress and former Bigg Boss competitor, isn’t afraid to flaunt her stunning photos on social media. In addition to her admirers, it has caught the attention of a cricket player for Team India, raising questions about if there is something going on behind the scenes.
Mahira just posted a picture of herself on Instagram wearing a gorgeous backless dress. Since last week, the post has had over 6.6 lakh views, and Team India pacer Mohammed Siraj was among those who enjoyed the image. Fans were left wondering if the Indian fast bowler was dating the stunning TV personality as the news quickly went viral on social media that Siraj had “liked” Mahira Sharma’s tweet.

Note that Siraj and Mahira have never been seen together. Fans are now further more curious about a potential relationship between them after the Gujarat Titans star’s “like.”
At this week’s IPL 2025 super auction in Jeddah, Siraj, who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) till the previous season, would be joining GT after being purchased for Rs 12.25 crore.
While one admirer replied, “Kon kon siraj ka like dekhne ke liye aaya hai,” another said, “Siraj bhai ne like kiya huaa hai.”
Mahira Sharma and Paras Chhabra were once romantically involved. After their first encounter in the Bigg Boss 13 house, the two fell in love. Mahira even unfollowed Paras on Instagram after they split up in 2023.
“Yes, we have not been talking to each other after a fight over petty issues for more than a week,” Paras later acknowledged to ETimes, confirming their breakup. However, even in the Bigg Boss house, Aisi fights toh hamari hamesha hoti rahi hain. I never imagined that it would result in a split.

Recently, Mahira Sharma appeared in the “Without You” music video. As India crushed the host team by 295 runs in the Perth Test to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match Test series for the Border Gavaskar Trophy, Siraj took three wickets in Australia’s second innings.
In a memorable moment following the Test victory in Perth, Mohammed Siraj hugged Indian substitute captain Jasprit Bumrah and remarked, “I only believe Jassi bhai.” This was in reference to a widely shared video of him complimenting the pace spearhead during India’s victory over South Africa in the T20 World Cup 2024 earlier this year.
“Abhi series khatam nahi hui hai” (The series is not yet done) was another statement made by Bumrah throughout the video.
