Pushpa 2 has sold the most tickets of any Telugu movie ever, according to an India Today article. On Wednesday, December 4 at 9:30 p.m., the paid preview performances will be place in a few theaters. Both single screens and multiplexes have set ticket pricing for the debut events at 944 (GST included).
Pushpa 2 would be shown six times in multiplexes and single screens, with admission fees of ₹413 and ₹324.50, respectively, approved by the Andhra Pradesh government. Furthermore, for the next twelve days, from December 6 to 17, the state administration authorized the holding of five performances at the same cost.
When the Telangana administration raised the cost of Pushpa 2 tickets in the state, it was criticized. The prices of the tickets are set at ₹1,200 for paid previews, ₹531 for multiplexes, and ₹354 for single screens. The Telangana High Court is scheduled to hear a case against the price increase today, December 3, one day prior to Pushpa 2’s release.
Sukumar is the film’s director, while Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media are its producers. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil will return to their respective parts as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat.
The film’s star, Allu Arjun, won a National Film Award for his role in the opening segment. Sukumar’s first segment of Pushpa included power struggles against the backdrop of smuggling red sandalwood. On December 5, the sequel will be released in theaters.
