‘Verity’ by Colleen Hoover Coming to Life with Anne Hathaway in the Lead Role

Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway is set to headline the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling psychological thriller, Verity. Hathaway will take on the titular role of Verity Crawford, a celebrated author whose life takes a dark turn after a devastating car accident leaves her incapacitated.

The story revolves around Verity’s inability to complete her successful thriller series, prompting her husband, Jeremy, to hire struggling writer Lowen to finish the books.

As Lowen steps into Verity’s world, she discovers an unfinished manuscript filled with chilling confessions, raising the question: Is Verity a brilliant storyteller or a deeply disturbed individual?

The film will be directed by Michael Showalter, known for his work with Hathaway on The Idea of You. Showalter, a seasoned filmmaker, is collaborating with Amazon MGM Studios to bring this gripping tale to life.
