After hitting 104 off 62 balls in an India Under-19 Youth Test match against Australia U-19 in Chennai, he accomplished the milestone. He surpassed the previous record of 14 years and 241 days that was held by Najmul Hossain Shanto, the current captain of Bangladesh.

However, some people began discussing age fraud as soon as Vaibhav accomplished a historic achievement. There was a dispute before, with some claiming that Vaibhav is actually fifteen years old. In response to these claims, the child’s father, Sanjiv Suryavanshi, told news agency PTI, “He initially went for a BCCI bone test when he was eight and a half years old.
